ASTRO Systems, Inc., was founded in 1986 to provide engineering and installation services to both Government and non-government Agencies. We offer a broad spectrum of state-of-the-art systems technology to the U.S. Government, commercial and international telecommunications communities. Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C., ASTRO has employees and affiliated staff located in select countries around the world.

A privately held small business company, ASTRO follows standard accounting procedures.

The principles of ASTRO have been engaged in telecommunications and electronic data processing in excess of 25 years each.

Prior to forming ASTRO the founder and management personnel were either principles or directors of major multi-national corporations with prominent positions with companies such as: Northrup Page Communications Engineers, Inc., Cosmos Engineers, Inc., Bendix Field Engineering Corp., Fluor Technology, Fairchild Communications, Aeroflex Systems Corp., Brown & Root and DSC Communications Corp. Their continued association is based on a history of efficient, professional collaboration on a wide variety of successful programs during the past three decades.
